Approaches To Therapy
Sex and Relationships
Our work together draws from two powerful therapeutic models Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you feel more seen, safe, and connected in your relationships.
EFT helps couples and individuals understand the emotional cycles that keep them stuck often rooted in attachment wounds and unmet needs. Together, we slow down reactive patterns so you can create safety, trust, and emotional intimacy with your partner.
IFS invites you to explore the parts of you that show up in intimacy like the part that fears rejection, the part that gets angry or shuts down, or even the part that longs for more connection but doesn’t know how to ask. By building a relationship with these inner parts, you develop more self-leadership, emotional resilience, and become a healthier partner.
Trauma & Somatic Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma and distressing experiences. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories, allowing you to gain clarity and move forward with greater peace and resilience.
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body to promote healing and well-being.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative therapy that helps you explore and heal the different parts of yourself. By fostering curiosity and compassion for your inner world, IFS guides you to uncover and address past wounds, creating balance and harmony within. This approach empowers you to access your core Self, fostering deeper healing, clarity, and personal growth.
