Couples Intensives are inadvisable for couples challenged with managing alcohol or drug addiction. Physically violent couples, couples that are unwilling to disclose a secret/affair, have an untreated severe mental health diagnosis, experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts, or thoughts to inflict harm on themself or another person.
